After two years of postponements and waiting, it was finally time for the big adventure – Flock to Marion Island 2022. I did some birding in the Cape Town area before our departure and a little birding in KZN after the trip. The voyage itself was spectacular, and I find myself at a loss for words when trying to describe what it was like. I hope the pages below will in some way explain what I saw and felt.
