I’ve heard the owl calling outside my house a few times this year, but unfortunately I have not managed to spot him. A neighbor sent a few photos when she spotted him in the tree outside our complex.

When I arrived home one afternoon this week I looked up as I reached our complex, and there he was! He looked very sleepy.

The next afternoon I saw him again – this time he was more awake, and seemed very interested in me and my camera as he followed me with his eyes the whole time as I walked around underneath the tree trying to get a good angle for a photo.
