VIP
Four other people also booked to go on the sunset drive, but when it was time to leave they had not arrived, The guide confirmed that they had paid, and therefore the drive can go ahead even if it was just with me. I really felt like a VIP to have a sunset drive all to myself! We did not see a lot, but it was very nice to be able to just sit back and enjoy being driven around! The Letaba River sunset was once again a special sight.
Vervet Monkeys
There was a small family of monkeys outside Letaba Reception just before the sunset drive started. They were so cute while they were huddled together with the little ones. While I was taking photos, another one took an interest in my bag that was on the bench.
And as is often the case, it showed some aggression when I tried to chase it away, but luckily nothing to serious.
