2020 had been a different year. The Covid-19 Pandemic changed everyone’s lives quite drastically. The plan was to go to Punda Maria at the end of November, but just as I was about to make the reservation, a national lock-down was implemented. Some of the restrictions were lifted in August 2020, and I could make my reservation. Punda Maria was not available so I booked 4 nights at Satara. A couple of weeks later I added 2 nights at Tamboti, and then I added 2 nights at Skukuza. I would spend 8 nights in my favourite place from 27 Nov to 5 Dec 2020!
As can always be expected, Kruger once again delivered in the most spectacular way. And after the year that was 2020, it was just what I needed.
This will not be a chronological account of my trip, but rather stories of the incredible moments I experienced.
